The Albert Whitted Airport Preservation Society, a non-profit all volunteer organization dedicated to the preservation, protection and enhancement of St. Petersburg 's Albert Whitted Airport , is holding it's 'every-first-Saturday' fundraising cook-out lunch and fly-in. Come enjoy burgers, dogs, drinks, fixins and deserts for just 7.00 per person. Your purchase of a lunch supports AWAPS in its on-going efforts to support general aviation in Florida . 14    TITUSVILLE -- (TIX) On January 14, 2012 at 08:00-1100 there will be a fly-in breakfast at TITUSVILLE AIRPORT  at the VAC (war bird museum) and it will be a monthly fly-in breakfast the 2nd Saturday of each month. The cost of the meal is $8.00 per person and includes admission to the museum.

14    CANNON CREEK -- Ray Sessions, is hosting a "FARM HOUSE BREAKFAST" on the Second Saturday of each month here at Cannon Creek Airpark. Food will be served from 8AM - 10AM. Donation of $5 is requested. Drive-in directions from I-75: Exit US 90 East. Drive 1 ½ miles East to traffic signal at Ken’s Bar-B-Que. Go South 2 miles on County Road 341 to Cannon Creek Airpark. Look for the peach colored farmhouse on your left.

19-22    SEBRING -- Light Sport Expo (see Aircraft Listing) or Visit their web site for more information. While AirVenture, Sun ‘n Fun, and Germany’s Aero may have more LSA professionals in attendance, the Light Aircraft Manufacturers Association (LAMA) Dinner at the Sebring U.S. Sport Aviation Expo is big.

How big? For the last four years, LAMA has “sold out” — standing-room-only last year — at its annual dinner. The event takes place in the main, large tent at Sebring. This year it will be the AeroShell tent as that company is generously providing the tent and tables through a sponsorship.

More Light Sport aircraft will be in attendance and providing demos than ever before. Be sure to attend on one of these days and see the latest in the LSA category.
